Made with love in Surrey, UK.

Jordon (Blondie)

For me, it all started when my grandma was teaching me how to knit when I was 10. I could not get the hang of it. I had read about this crochet thing where you only needed to use one ‘needle’! I began pestering my grandma to start to teach me how to crochet. My grandma kept saying that if I had given up on knitting there was no way I would be able to pick up crocheting. I remember the day she finally gave in and the chaos that shortly followed.

I had such a hard time following patterns, I quickly found that I was making up the pattern as she went along anyway. With encouragement from Mike, together we starting designing amigurumi from scratch!

Mike (Beardie)

My crochet journey began in a similar fashion. I first tried to crochet a beanie hat, it did not go well. I ended up with a completely flat doily! Not at all deterred by my lack of success, I did not return to crochet for over 5 years… One day I wanted to make something special for my God daughter for Christmas, so Jordon taught me how to crochet properly and I successfully made a pair of little Christmas boots! They might have taken me about 15 hours… I’ve practiced a lot and I have become a little bit better since then.

Beardie and Blondie

We both love playing video games and board games together. Our main exercises are a competitive game of squash and our weekly pole fitness lessons. Jordon loves baking and Mike loves experimenting with new dishes in the kitchen. We love anything crafty and creative, and are always up for trying new things. We have recently started pottery lessons and tried our hands at candle making, and about to embark on our 3D printing journey! We’re always tinkering on something.

We’re still figuring out how to do all of this, we’d love any helpful advice or feedback! We may have a knack for starting blankets… but we’ll always keep designing amigurumi and crochet!

Thank you for visiting our little crochet shop! We are excited to share all our creations with you. We hope you enjoy having a look around!
